John is best known for documenting the work of underground art, including Battle Sounds (97′ Whitney Biennial), The Price of Getting Up, and Cease & Desist. He is a founder of Hop-Fu, a Hip-Hop/Kung-Fu live event, and TTM, a DJ music transcription system.
